Cloth Halls in Biecz

The surviving pointed arch vaults in the Becz House's cellars and some of the portals indicate that the tenement was built probably in the 15th century in the Gothic period. After the Second World War, the tenement passed into the ownership of the city in a state much different from its original one. The only elements surviving to our time are the brickwork of Gothic walls, late Gothic cellars, a large entrance hall, and remnants of Renaissance portals and lintels (discovered and built into the walls during the tenement's renovation in 1968–1969). Authentic ceiling beams have also survived.
