Aquatic habitat birds, display case, Ciężkowice

Batyskaf - podwodny statek

On board the bathyscaphe (an underwater vessel used to explore the deep sea) that started operating at the museum in 2015, visitors can take an interactive journey through the bed of the Biała River, during which participants discover underwater treasures and animal species protected by the Natura 2000 area. Although the boat is not actually underwater, thanks to modern audio-visual capabilities, every participant of this extraordinary expedition can feel as if they are sailing along the current of a Carpathian river. During the journey, passengers learn about the fish living in the Tarnów Biała River, the dangers they face, and how humans harm the aquatic environment. Opposite the bathyscaphe is a display case where you can see birds from aquatic habitats from around the world.
