Express and Passenger Steam Locomotives Collection

ZABYTKOWE PAROWOZY

The collection of express and passenger steam locomotives is our great pride. The collection includes the following steam engines: Ol49-44, Pt31-64 and Pt47-152. The passenger steam engine Ol49-100 was built in 1952 by FABLOK in Chrzanów. It represents a very successful series of Polish passenger steam locomotives, which served Polish State Railways’ travellers almost until the end of Poland’s steam engine era. The last ones ended their service in the winter of 1992. Maximum speed: 100km/h, coupled wheel diameter: 1.75m. The Pt31-64 express steam locomotive was built in 1938 by FABLOK in Chrzanów, it represents the largest and most successful series of Polish express steam engines, which continued to be made (with minor modifications) after the Second World War, as ‘Pt47’. Maximum speed: 110km/h, coupled wheel diameter: 1.85m. The Pt47-152 express steam locomotive was built in 1950 by the Cegielski company in Poznań. They were a continuation of the very successful pre-war steam engine series Pt31. Maximum speed: 110km/h, coupled wheel diameter: 1.85m.
