The Ethnographic Department of the Sucha Beskidzka Municipal Museum called the ‘Gardener’s Cottage’ contains a valuable regional collection depicting the life of people in the Suska Land such as highlanders from Babia Góra and Żywiec. Visitors can see the traditional interior of the cottage with a pantry and a living chamber containing articles of daily use and furniture, a reconstructed shepherds’ hut with furnishings and a reconstructed roadside shrine. Other parts of the exhibition are divided into thematic sections focused on basic activities the local population pursued in the past: weaving and processing of unwoven fabric, blacksmithing and iron processing, handicraft, wood processing and farming.
