The Rural Cultural Centre in Tylicz is administered by the Cultural Centre in Krynica-Zdrój. The building houses the ‘Przystań’ community centre, which is a branch of the Krynica-Zdrój Public Library and the Tylicz Museum. The idea to create a museum in Tylicz was born a long time ago, but it was only in 2014 that, with funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, it was possible to thoroughly renovate the building of the Rural Cultural Centre and prepare the exhibition rooms. The museum has a lot of interesting historical exhibits connected to Tylicz, its residents, and the old crafts and guilds of Tylicz. There are also old photographs, costumes, musical instruments and, most importantly, old documents commemorating the 650-year history of Tylicz and its residents.
