The bakery with a window recess in the western wall was located in the middle castle, which served farming functions. This is evidenced by the bricked-up recess once occupied by a bread oven. A wooden drainage trough was placed in the 14th-century perimeter wall, through which food scraps were thrown outside the castle walls. The original stone threshold and part of the jamb remain in the passageway from the kitchen to the bakery.
