Tuchów

Kościół z wieża widziany zza ogrodzenia.
The town located in the Tarnów district. The first mentions of this place come from the beginning of the 11th century. We also know that in the 14th century, beds of rock salt were discovered nearby and the village was formally granted the city rights. The marketsquare was built where a salt fair was held once a week. The city has maintained the medieval urban arrangement and the Redemptorist Monastery with the miraculous painting of Our Lady is towering over it. The monastic complex accommodates the Missionary Museum of the Redemptorists, Sanctuary Museum and Ethnographic Museum. Through the town, the medieval pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella in Spain is running.
