It is used for various outdoor events at the open-air museum, the most important of which is Święto Borówki, which has been held since 2002. It is the largest, recurring open-air event focused on ethnography and folklore and is held in the open-air museum on the last Sunday in July. The programme includes performances by regional and folk ensembles, presentations of historical crafts, regional products of the Polish and Slovak parts of Orawa, regional music and dances. The Święto Borówki festival is accompanied by a folk and professional art fair, competitions, the sampling of regional dishes and many other attractions for adults and children. Care is taken for the event to not be an ordinary festival, so traditional handicrafts and authenticity are heavily promoted, with emphasis on the most beautiful parts of the folk culture. Our permanent partners include the Babia Góra National Park, the State Forests, the Orawa Cultural Centre in Jabłonka and the Community Cultural Centre in Lipnica Wielka.
