The exhibition in the industrial room focuses on the two large industrial complexes operating in Chrzanów: the Fablok Joint-Stock Company, the first locomotive factory in Poland, and the Matylda Lead and Calamine Ore Mine. The interior design imitates an office of an industrial plant's director: a cylindrical desk, a bookcase filled with books about the history of industry, and original documents from the aforementioned locomotive factory. Interesting exhibits include: large-format model of the factory site and surrounding area, designs of the factory and mine sites, Gold Medal diploma for the 1937 express steam engine Pm36-1, and 19th-century mining lanterns.
Interesting items from the earlier years of the Fablok company include: shares in the display case (1 Share of the Joint Stock Company of the First Locomotive Factory in Poland according to the design by Józef Mehoffer (1923) and 10 Shares of the First Locomotive Factory in Poland worth 1000 złoty (1938). The display case is completed by two iron castings: an information plaque of the no. 247 steam engine (1928) and Fablok's company logo (after 1945).
Additionally, the room houses an office cabinet with drawers for files and a drawing board - the original furnishings of factory offices. You can also see models of selected Fablok products.
The exhibition is complemented by photographs from the Museum's collection, depicting the employees of these workplaces.
