The multimedia room has a glass floor, under which are recreations of fragments of habitats and selected plant communities. On the illuminated plafonds are detailed descriptions of individual meadow sections, and in its segments are models of most of Poland’s species of reptiles and amphibians. There is also an illuminated plafond controlled by sensory mechanics with a resin model of a bird’s plumage. The exhibition is supplemented by a digital photo gallery, presented in an interactive kiosk, where you can access information about the founders (documentaries, interviews, publications), photo presentations about the Ciężkowice Piedmont (‘Podgórze Ciężkowickie’), and other educational materials. The most important part of the exhibition is the set of 8 digital photo frames with presentations describing the main orders and families of the birds in the museum. These are around 200 bird species presented according to taxonomic groups (orders and families). Among rare and extinct species, more than 20 are on the Polish Red List of Threatened Animals. The MP4 players stand lets you hear the calls of Poland’s birds and the next stand presents the local fish species.
