Legend has it that the waters of this waterfall are the tears of a girl betrayed by the owner of the gord, who, breaking the law of hospitality, gave her away in exchange for the village of Kąśna. The Waterfall Ravine has been declared a monument of nature. In winter, the Waterfall forms fantastical ice shapes, but the gorge is difficult to access. It is a rocky ravine about 40 m long and up to 4 m wide, bounded by rock walls around a dozen metres high. The floor of the valley is uneven and shaped into several thresholds and sloping slabs. The ravine forks about halfway through. The main western valley ends in a vertical wall approx. 14.5 m high, over which water flows from the spring of the stream above it. The water falls to the bottom of the ravine from a height of about 10 m. The ravine was probably formed in a tectonic fracture zone, which greatly facilitated the deepening of the valley floor.
