The historic tenement Rynek 16 houses the Aleksander Kłosiński Museum. The building was constructed between 1843 and 1845 by Franciszek Wundurer, a watchmaker and one of the town assessors. In subsequent years, the tenement changed owners many times. In 1879, it was bought by Mojżesz Gruber, and in the 1880s, Helena Kotońska became its owner. In 1890, the tenement was purchased by Edmund Krzysztoforski, the former mayor of Kęty. From then on, part of the building was rented by Markus and Laura Offner, who ran a shop on the ground floor. In the inter-war period, the Offners bought the tenement house. During the Nazi occupation (in 1941), the building was requisitioned by the German authorities. In 1964, the building was taken over by the State Treasury by prescription. In 1995, the seat of the Kęty museum was moved to the Rynek 16 tenement house.
