The still-operational steam-powered hoist (serial number 858) stands exactly where it powered the hoisting cages for 67 years.

The No. 858 Eintracht Hutte steam engine was manufactured in 1909 at the German Vereinigte Konigs & Laurahutte plant. Until 1928, the machine worked above the Leo I shaft in the Charlotte coal company, then it was disassembled and transported to the Bochnia mine. A year later, it began work above the Campi shaft until 1996. It was the longest-running steam engine in Poland.

In 2006, the steam-powered hoist was included in the Register of Monuments of the Małopolska Voivodeship.
