The room is decorated with stucco by Baltazar Fontana, who is considered one of the greatest representatives of late Baroque sculpture. The composition of the vault consists of a tondo surrounded by a wreath of leaves, flowers, and fruit and garlands of roses carried by a putto. The sculptural decorations are complemented by paintings depicting frolicking cupids, while the walls are adorned with later rococo polychrome. This small room served as the Baroque office of a wealthy patrician. Rich furnishings and carpets give the impression of wealth and testify to the wealth of the past inhabitants of Kraków. The large chest is beautifully decorated with bas-relief arcades; on the wall is a lantern clock with an alarm from ca. 1685; on the table stands a brass tiled clock, known as a frog, from the first half of the 17th century, and on the chest is a table clock made by John Taylor in the second quarter of the 18th century., The floor clock in the corner was made by the Kraków clockmaker Tomasz Taborski in 1775–1780. The rich and colourful impression is strengthened by carpets used to decorate interiors in that era. In the study is a hand-woven Persian carpet from the second half of the 19th century that was imported from the area of today's southern Iran.
