This room has a peculiar old-fashioned atmosphere. Collected over the years and from various eras, the furnishings are like sentimental souvenirs from the past. Near the decorative stove is an Empire-style bed from the first quarter of the 19th century. A Passion figurine, a glass-bead rosary, binoculars, and a prayer book from the mid-19th century are on the little table. Above the bed hangs a 'holy painting', a depiction of St. Anthony the Hermit from the first half of the 19th century. On the opposite side of the bed, a screen hides household appliances that allowed the occupants to leave the house without leaving the room... In the cabinet, on lace napkins, there are various porcelain figurines, flasks, decanters, and painted miniatures. The walls are adorned with portraits, photographs, landscapes from around Kraków, a small portrait of Tadeusz Kościuszko from around 1900,and a memento from the funeral of Adam Mickiewicz.. One of the most distinctive decorations is a large tapestry, below which are a sofa and an oval table with, among other things, a screen for dimming candlelight. Beneath the window is a 'niciak', a small table for handicrafts, and on the windowsill stands a potted geranium and the obligatory flytrap.
