The dairy company in Królówka was founded in 1888 on the initiative of the then-parish priest, Franciszek Pawlikowski, who wanted to serve the local community by giving them the opportunity for a stable source of income. From 1896, it functioned as a dairy company, then as a cooperative, and after the Second World War, it operated as part of a district dairy cooperative. One year after its establishment, the dairy company was taking in 67,000 litres of milk a year, in 1900 already 206,000, and in 1930 – 716,000 litres. In the room where the processing plant operated, glass tubes, bottles, and equipment from a century ago used in the first dairy factory in Galicia have been preserved. The old photographs documenting the work in the cooperative, and especially the milk centrifuges brought here from Vienna, are noteworthy. The upper part of the historic building, whose construction began in 1902, was occupied by offices, while the lower part was used for processing the delivered milk. All kinds of dairy products were also made in Królówka: buttermilk, cream, cheese, and also butter, which found its way onto the table of Emperor Franz Joseph himself.
