The Chapel of the Transfiguration, commonly known as the Park Church, is the first Roman Catholic temple in Krynica-Zdrój. It was built between 1863 and 1864 and designed by the creator of the Collegium Novum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and the Łazienki in Krynica-Zdrój. Its architecture evokes the tradition of Orthodox churches. Built on a cruciform floor plan, it has a log structure, is boarded and covered with shingles. The roof over the chancel is dome-shaped and topped with a turret with lunettes. Inside, attention is drawn to the two altars from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries with a painting of the Transfiguration and Our Lady of Czestochowa. Inside, there is also a vestry and a vestibule, separated by a stylish grille. On the walls of the chapel are six oil paintings on canvas, depicting the Apostles Peter and Paul and the four Evangelists.
