‘Polish-Slovak Brotherhood of Arms – the Battle of Limanowa 1914’ is a modern interactive exhibition devoted to World War I. On the basis of an arrangement concept, the field staff quarters from the time of the World War I have been created. In addition to traditional exhibits such as uniformed mannequins, replicas of weapons, displays of historical objects from the Battle of Limanowa and narrative display boards, it also contains multimedia elements: a wall screen controlled via the tablet placed in front of it presenting, among other things, a documentary made available by the Institute and Museum of the History of Wars in Hungary and a multimedia table – a staff table on which the visitors can see an interactive map of the battle. Light and sound effects accompanying the exhibition recreate the atmosphere or anxiety and threat experienced by soldiers fighting during the Limanowa-Łapanów operation. Voiceover recordings add to the whole experience.
