Post office, Galician Town, Nowy Sącz

The building is a copy of the house built in mid-nineteenth century at the market square in Lipnica Murowana. Its initial exterior and certain presumed architectural details have been reconstructed. The interior arrangement presents the look of a post office from Galician times. Officials’ desks and telephone booths have been reconstructed. A model of a heating stove has also been made of old decorative tiles salvaged from demolition. The back room houses an additional exhibition related to the institution of the former Post Office.
