Clockmaker and photographer, Galician Town

The house built in Stary Sącz in around the mid-nineteenth century had still existed not so long ago at number 23 Piłsudskiego Street. It was demolished in 2003 due to its poor condition. A wide pass-through hallway enclosed with decorative gates served as a passage from the street to the yard. The exterior of the house was reconstructed withoutthe pass-through hallway. The interiors were arranged to look like a historical clockmaker’s workshop and a photographer’s atelier as they appeared at the turn of the 20th century.
