Burgher Interiors, Maria Ritter Museum

The exhibition of old burgher interiors is set up in the former flat of the Ritter family, the town’s well-known merchant family, who traded in Hungarian wines, spices and drugstore goods, sold in a shop on the ground floor of the building. The apartment, with its rooms arranged in an enfilade, preserves the original window and door woodwork, floors and tiled stoves from the late 19th century. The interior decoration consists mainly of exhibits purchased by the Museum, among which are objects belonging to the Ritter family and acquired from other Sącz families.
