The blacksmith’s shop was built in the early 1920s for use on his own farm and for the neighbours. The log building is set on a stone foundation and the walls are made of round logs connected with dovetail joints. Inside, there is a brick hearth with a leather bellows, next to which stands a stump with a large anvil. Smithing tools lie along the walls. A large vise is attached to the wall in front of the entrance.
