The windmill was built in 1948 and was in operation until around 1985. The building represents the post mill design type. Its body is set on a fixed metal pole with the middle section encased in wood. This allowed the entire casing and mechanism to be rotated to adjust its position to the current wind direction. On the front wall is a wind wheel with eight wooden blades connected by a metal gear to an internal mechanism that was mainly used to drive querns. For some time, an electricity generator was connected to the horizontal rotating mechanism by a belt. The walls of the building are wooden and planked and slatted on the outside.
