The ‘shelter’ rooms were classified as type II hiding places and equipped with steel doors protecting only against bomb explosions. To guarantee appropriate working conditions in the event of an armed conflict or another emergency, the control station is equipped with means of communication allowing contact with other offices and civil defence units, for example WKU or the military recruitment office, MO or the communist-era police and the fire service.
