The room displays a collection of 20th-century coins and banknotes from Poland, Russia, Germany and Hungary. Some of them have very large denominations given the inflation characteristic for the period. The coins and banknotes are in very good condition. They come from different periods, from the times of King Władysław Jagiełło to the time when Poland regained its independence in 1918. There are also several exhibits relating to the history of the Cistercian brewery in Szczyrzyc. The monastery brewery was established in 1628. It was seized by the state after the World War II and returned to the monastery after 1989. The brewery has been modernised and currently produces several types of beer. The other part of the building houses a beautiful modern hotel.
