The family home of Antoni Kocjan, a well-known sailplane designer and builder born in 1902, is a thatched timber house on a stone foundation that was built in 1862 in the village of Skalskie. The cottage is an interesting example of a 19th-century timber building from the Olkusz area. In 2003, the dilapidated building was restored to a better condition by dismantling it and then rebuilding it from the ground up. At the request of the Olkusz council, Kocjan’s cottage was relocated to Rabsztyn in 2014.
