The Jan Paweł II – Nowy Targ – przeszłość i obecność (John Paul II - Nowy Targ - Past and Presence) exhibition presents numerous memorabilia and documents that belonged to Holy Father John Paul II. A part of the exhibition focuses on the memorable Mass celebrated by St. John Paul II on 8 June 1979 at the airport in Nowy Targ. Visitors can see numerous photographs and documents related to the event as well as the papal cross and throne that are the only parts of the altar preserved to this day. They can also see the blessing from Pope John Paul II for the city of Nowy Targ dated 1995, numerous memorabilia of his consecutive pilgrimages to his homeland and everyday objects that belonged to Pope John Paul II.
