The Mościce Art Centre is an Institution of Culture of the Małopolskie Voivodeship. The seat of the Centre is currently the largest and most comprehensive cultural facility in the Tarnów subregion. The institution was established pursuant to the decision of the Self-Government of the Małopolskie Voivodeship after a thorough modernisation of the building in 2008–2011 funded in part from the EU funds as a part of the Małopolski Regional Operational Programme.
Artistic events offered by the Centre focus mostly on the promotion of Polish culture and the presentation of European and global artistic trends. The Centre brings the audience together, with Polish and foreign artists from different areas such as music, theatre, film, dance, painting, sculpture and photography. It is a place where art trumps commerce and, by making use of the spatial possibilities, it manages to combine different genres of art to create original and ambitious programmes that keep up with social changes reflected in our culture. The Mościce Art Centre presents phenomena created with the use of new technologies and digital arts.
