The granary from Kamionka, the Open-Air Museum in Jędrzejówka

It is a 19th-century two-storey granary with a construction characteristic for the region, consisting of a stone vaulted cellar and a wooden cellar where grain was stored in large storage spaces. There is an elaborately decorated ‘spyrnik’ inside the granary where cuts of fat and dried sausages were stored as well as small chests made of chipped beech planks for the storage of dried fruit. Secured with a solid lock, the granary was also a place where costly horse trappings were stored. It's also worth taking a look at the large yoke for oxen and a smaller one for cows that were traditionally used as beasts of burden in Galicia. You can also have a look at an interesting collection of creative traps for catching mice that were the bane of all farmers at the time, causing great losses of stored grain. A collection of beekeeping tools and clay pots for honey storage are presented in the stone cellar.
