Świątniki Górne was the home of aviators who guarded and defended the Polish skies and participated in the famous Battle of Britain as well as of the mechanics who learned locksmithing and mechanics in the Świątniki Locksmithing School. Note the photographs of one of the first Fire Brigades in Małopolska, the choir, orchestra and a theatre. The captain of the first football team representing Poland in 1921 and later the manager of the same team also came from Świątniki Górne… but that’s a different story.
