Rozwadowski Family Graveyard Chapel, Tuchów

Kaplica zbudowana z cegły otoczona drzewami.

The neo-Gothic chapel with burial vaults of former owners of Tuchów, i.e., the Rozwadowski and Theodorowicz families, was built according to the design by Adolf Juliusz Stapf in 1904 as commissioned by Countess Ludwika Rozwadowska, nѐe Zamoyska. The chapel can be found at the new cemetery established in 1890 on the land donated to the town by Ludwika Rozwadowska. It was built of rough red brick with decorative architectural details made of grey sandstone. Cartouches carved in stone with the family crests of the Rozwadowski and Zamoyski families can be seen above the entrance, and there is a stone bas-relief of the Mother of God in a tondo at the top of the façade. Inside, one can see a wooden neo-Gothic altar, a vestry in the outbuilding, and burial crypts in the basement. Epitaph tablets are mounted on the walls of the chapel. The chapel located in the oldest part of the cemetery at Leśna Street has been entered into the register of historical monuments.
