The Dębno Castle, a 15th-century gem of Małopolska architecture, can transport visitors to a charming Gothic atmosphere breathed by the ancient stone walls. The entire building is watched over by an extraordinary spirit, the legendary Tarło family member (‘Tarłówna’), known as the White Lady. The castle hosts many events, themed exhibitions, concerts, revolving drinks meetings, a museum night, St. John’s Eve, open-air painting workshops, intimate museum meetings, and a unique knights’ tournament for ‘Tarłówna’s Golden Braid’. The castle is famous for its exceptionally painterly interiors, decorated with original Gothic stonework, many Gothic portal frames, and the decorative frieze of the northern bay window that is often featured in films.
