This homestead is often called a poor man’s cottage because of its small size and modest furnishings. It probably dates back to late 19th century. It was relocated from the village of Podszkle at the turn of the 1970s and was heated with an archaic system without the use of a chimney until then. Under the shingled roof are two small rooms and utility rooms with a shed for a single cow. This type of the late-19th-century building without a ‘wyżka’ or ‘przedwysce’ was characteristic for very poor families. There is a small, seasonal herb garden with a single bee hive in front of the cottage.
