The Tarnów Bus Station is located at Dworcowa Street.

The station building was built between 1906 and 1910 based on a design by E. Baudisch (Ministry of Railways in Vienna). It was damaged in 1915 during the war. On 14 June 1940, the first mass transport of prisoners to Auschwitz departed from the station. On the 70th anniversary of this tragedy, a memorial to the First Transport of Prisoners to Auschwitz was unveiled, with 728 names on it. Between 2007 and 2010, Tarnów's railway station underwent a major refurbishment, which restored its century-old appearance It is a place worth visiting, as the interior of the station, after renovation, is reminiscent of the décor of elegant hotels from the first decade of the twentieth century.
