This almost 50-year-old event delights visitors with carolers’ competition, Highland Outlaws’ dance contest, a break-neck race of sleighs pulled by horses, skiring (skiing when pulled by horses), and horse-drawn ceremonial carriages. Famished visitors are revived with regional food tasting and can participate in numerous other attractions. This annual event is an excellent opportunity to participate in a series of events capturing the climate and atmosphere of carol singing and a folk carnival. For a few winter days, Bukowina Tatrzańska turns into a unique place in the Małopolska region, hosting those who love dancing, singing and cultivating Highland traditions.
