Castellum in Frydman
Monuments
Kasztelańska 1, 34-435 Frydman
Tourist region: Pieniny i Spisz
In the 16th century, when Frydman was a Hungarian village, the ruler of these lands, Jerzy Horvath, extended the former watchtower and gave it the character of a defensive castellum with a beautiful Renaissance attic.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the unfortunate reconstruction removed the attic from the building and granted it with a hip roof. Currently, it is in the hands of private owners and is unavailable to tourists.
