Mineral waters of Łomnica are naturally carbonated mineral waters occurring in flysch deposits in the areas of fault zones facilitating the infiltration of rainwater and supplying free carbon dioxide. The development of Łomnica as a health resort began in 1910, when those waters started being used for the first time. Most of them are located in the upper part of the town. They contain a large amount of carbon dioxide. They are used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
