National Canoe Trip in the Dłubnia River Valley ‘Dłubnia wciąga’ (‘The Dłubnia Draws In’)

Swift current, beautiful nature and fantastic atmosphere – this is what you can count on during the National Canoe Trip in the Dłubnia River Valley ‘Dłubnia wciąga’ (‘Dłubnia Draws In’), which takes place on the first weekend of September in Maszków, located in the Iwanowice Commune near Kraków.

This is an excellent tourist event of a recreational and sightseeing nature, showing the corners of the municipality, on which the largest part of the Dłubno Landscape Park is located. The 1st National Canoe Trip event was organised in 2022. Due to the high interest, it was decided to continue the initiative, while increasing the number of places for those interested in participating and expanding the existing attractions. Canoe trips take place on Saturday and Sunday, but participants arrive on Friday evening. Every such event is accompanied by, among others, shared barbecues, children's attractions, and exhibitions of local entrepreneurs' products

The canoe trip office and accommodation base are located on the campsite in the Sports and Recreation Centre in Maszków. 

There are two routes to choose from: for experienced kayakers and for families with children.

The event is organised in cooperation with the TOLHAJ –  GDK Foundation from Gliwice.

The National Canoe Trip in the Dłubnia River Valley ‘Dłubnia wciąga’ was awarded in the tourist Treasures of Małopolska competition in 2023 in the category: ‘So Much Is Happening – Unique Tourist Attraction’.
