Sal de Bochegna is part of the cross-border cycle trail called Bicycle Salt Ring Salina Cracoviensis – a tourist trail along the length of the former Wieliczka–Bochnia salt mine.

Sal de Bochegna is a link running north from Bochnia to Uście Solne, along the Raba River on which salt used to be transported down to the Vistula River. In Uście Solne, in addition to the historic salt depot, you’ll also find the junction of the Vistula Bicycle Route and the recently opened section of the VeloRaba route

Sal de Bochegna is also a great option for road cyclists travelling along VeloRaba (this section is gravel ). With the addition of the VeloMetropolis (EuroVelo4) route, which crosses the trail in Mikluszowice, it can be used to create great cycling loops. The main attractions on the trail (marked in green), which apart from the Raba Valley mainly goes along local roads with little car traffic, are the historic churches listed on the Wooden Architecture Route (e.g., in Krzyżanowice or Słomka). The trail does not appear to be regularly maintained, so we recommend using the gpx track
