The Polish Tourist Society Hostel, named after Stanisław Dunin Borkowski, is located on the peak of Mt Luboń Wielki (1022 m above sea level) in the Beskid Wyspowy between Rabka-Zdrój, Mszana Dolna and Tenczyn. It is the closest hostel to Kraków that can boast of being located at an altitude more than 1,000 metres above sea level.

The hostel, built in 1931, is charming with its characteristic shape reminiscent of Baba Yaga's house. It has ndergone hardly any major changes. Hot water is hard to come by, and there can even be a shortage of cold water during periods without rain (drought, frost). This is a highly atmospheric hostel with undoubted advantages: a picturesque location, a dense network of hiking trails, tasty food, the presence of lots of 'four-legged companions', an extensive panorama (the Beskids: Wyspowy, Makowski and Żywiecki, the Gorce and the Tatry Mountains), the nature reserve on Mt Luboń Wielki, caves, boulder fields, and the possibility of paragliding.

A year-round hostel with 25 beds (10 in the main building, 15 in the shepherd's summer hut), a tourist buffet, shower, telephone, a multi-person hall with a unique layout of windows facing all four sides of the world, and a common room in the shepherd's hut (the 'privies (toilets) are outside). The setting includes a covered chapel, shed, tables, benches, and a fire pit. Slightly below the hostel, the main attraction is Mt Luboń Wielki nature reserve with the largest boulder fields and numerous caves in the entire Beskid Wyspowy.

Of the trails leading to Luboń Wielki, the yellow one – through Perć Borkowskiego – is particularly worth recommending, while the blue one – from Zakopianka – is considered to be the most picturesque, offering magnificent panoramas of the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains, the Beskid Makowski, the Beskid Wyspowy and the Beskid Żywiecki. The part of the red trail between the Glisne Pass and the mountain hostel is awe-inspiring, although it is very steep iat some points. The green trail is recommended for cyclists and those who prefer easy and relaxing rides through the forest The location  makes the hostel a perfect stopover for those exploring the Gorce and Zywiec Beskids, as well as an excellent destination for short or weekend trips, especially for families with children.
