Nature
Wola Lubecka
Tourist region: Tarnów i okolice
It is a hill (434 m) in the Ciężkowice Foothills with an excellent view of the surrounding mountain and foothill ranges.
The peak offers an excellent view of the Liwocz and Brzanka Ranges, as well as the Dynowskie and Strzyżowskie Foothills, the Beskid Niski and Beskid Sądecki, the Gorce Mountains, the Tatra Mountains, the Rożnowskie Foothills and the Beskid Wyspowy. Mount Kokocz is covered with forests and abounds in numerous rare animal species and, above all, plants, such as the hedera helix ivy and the southern cocklebur. A viewing platform with a convenient ramp for wheelchair users with disabilities has been built at the top of Mount Kokocz. In 2009, Mount Kokocz won third place in the Great Discovery of Małopolska plebiscite in the 'Tourist Attraction' category. Mount Kokocz is a popular place for walks and, interestingly, outdoor wedding sessions.
