The medieval monastery with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hebdów, picturesquely situated on a hill in a bend of the Vistula River, is an extraordinarily charming place with a peaceful and mystical atmosphere. It is the oldest – after the Monastery of Tyniec – monastic foundation in Małopolska. Today, the monastery houses the Faith and Culture Centre – a centre for Christian spirituality, education and culture run by the Polish Province of the Piarist Order and the St Norbert Hotel. Hotel rooms, a restaurant, meeting rooms and exhibition space are available. Hebdów is a place where you can regain balance and harmony. Everyone will find, starry skies, boundless greenery and a mysterious ambience of luxurious silence accentuated by the evening mist over the meadows.

The monastery and the Marian Sanctuary are among the most valuable monuments of Gothic and Baroque architecture in Małopolska. There is a much-venerated statue of Our Lady of Hebdów, known as the Vistula Lady.

Hebdów was the winner in the 2019 Małopolska Tourist Treasures competition in the Atmospheric Place  category.
