The temple in Kamionna owes its origin mostly to Wojciech Pączek, who, when going to war, expressed in the will his wish stating that if he died, a chapel in honour of Our Lady the Queen of Poland would be erected on his parcel.
He also assigned his property for this purpose. In 1934 a small wooden church was built. At the entrance to the nave, on the left, you can see the image of M. Pączek. Together with the temple were created also the main altar with the image of the Mother of God, Queen of Poland, as well as side altars, pulpit, confessionals, baptismal font... They too were made of wood, hand-crafted, and decorated with neo-Gothic turrets, rosettes and Renaissance domes. A belfry stands next to the church.
