The Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church in Luborzyca was built in the 15th century in place of a former wooden church from the 13th century.
Its founder was the Rector of the Jagiellonian University – Mikołaj Hińczowicz. The most valuable element of the church is the Romanesque bronze door bolt, shaped as a lion’s head. It dates back to the turn of the 12th and 13th century. It was brought to Luborzyca most likely from one of former Kraków churches.
