You can find out about it by visiting the Kraków Ethnographic Museum. The visit enables you to go on a journey into the past of the Małopolska village. Most exhibits date back to the 19th century. The collection introduces the visitors to the everyday life of farmers and shepherds, and presents their traditions related to customs and holidays, as well as their deep belief in magic. In the museum you will find reconstructed interiors of peasant cottages, among other places, from the Kraków and the Podhale region. Also interesting are the craftsmen workshops: a fulling machine, an oil mill, a smithy and a potter’s workshop.
