Museum presents the history of the Krzeszowice Land. You can discover here the history of the Tęczyński and Potocki families, as well as see the mock-ups of the most interesting monuments of the region (Tenczyn Castle, Zwierzyniecka Gate) or the non-existent wooden church of St Martin in Krzeszowice. The exhibition include also postcards with historical views of the city and the surrounding area, as well as documents and presentations of persons that are important to the region’s history.
In the interior of the barn standing nearby, there are agricultural and farm tools and the historic fire-fighting equipment used by the first Krzeszowice firefighters.
The museum collection also features old furniture, once belonging to both the poorer and the richer residents, as well as kitchen equipment, paintings and folk outfit.
There are also souvenirs of the donor of the museum’s seat as well as souvenirs of the Domański family - the museum shows interiors of a villa owned by the family.
