The place was named 'Jaszczurówka' after the numerous salamanders that used to live here, referred to by mountaineers as 'lizards'. In conditions similar to those found in nature, it is possible to observe rare and endangered amphibian species: salamanders, newts and frogs, as well as reptiles: lizards and snakes. An educational trail made up of five stops has been marked out at the centre. It offers the opportunity not only to observe reptiles and amphibians in their natural habitat, but also to learn a lot about them, learn about the history of the site and become more familiar with aquatic ecosystems.
