The 'Siwy Dym' Restaurant has a unique atmosphere in Rabka-Zdrój just by the Zakopane highway. The spacious venue can accommodate up to 300 people on two separate floors. Two floors are available to guests: the ground floor has a room with a large bar, fireplace, and stage, and there is a side room.
The 'Siwy Dym' Restaurant was established on the site of the iconic 'Zabornianka' restaurant. The inn has always stood here, halfway down the road – Zakopianka – between Kraków and Zakopane. The current building was made from old timber harvested from the demolition of four highland cottages that were more than a century old. Contractor and designer Józef Pintscher, with the help of his son Grzegorz and son-in-law Piotr Majerczyk, created a cosy home-like atmosphere in which to have fun and enjoy live music. Piotr and Grzegorz are the founders of the band 'Siwy Dym', a band of talented musicians playing highlander and Carpathian folk tunes. The 'Siwy Dym' inn is famous for its highland decor and food, and is well-known beyond Małopolska – it has two locations in central Poland: one in Warsaw, and another in Celejów.
