A perfect place for walks, fishing, and bird watching. The old Vistula riverbed in Rozkochów will provide contact with nature and allow you to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Rozkochów is a lovely village whose southern border is marked by the Vistula. Its valley is protected within a Natura 2000 special bird protection area. Herons, mergansers, mallard ducks and shovelers have taken a liking to this place. You can also observe cranes and mute swans here. The site was created on the basis of the Ostrówek pond and the old Vistula riverbed, extended by a gravel pit. The Karaś fishing club operates within it. The Vistula Cycling Route runs near the pond, and the Rozkochów Cycling Service Point is located nearby. The area of Rozkochów and the Babica municipality is a buffer zone of the Jurassic Landscape Parks, as well as the close vicinity of the Lower Skawa River Valley, protected within the Natura 2000 Lower Skawa River Valley special bird protection area.
