Zazie Bistro Kraków

Tourist region: Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska, Kraków i okolice
While looking carefully, you notice the logo of the Kraków restaurant referring to the graphic symbol of the Paris Metro. The name comes from Raymond Queneau's book Zazie in the Metro. The owners' philosophy was to create a French restaurant for every pocket where you don't have to wear a suit and tie. They decided to take well-known recipes and reverse-engineered them, tweak them a bit and give them a little twist or a slightly new spin. And it worked. Today Zazie is frequented by students, lawyers, and native Frenchmen alike, who say they feel at home there. Zazie's menu includes snails in a spicy tomato sauce based on coconut milk, octopus, beef tripe with orange and cinnamon, or beef tongue with pumpkin noodles and avocado. Zazie Bistro was the first restaurant in Kraków to win a Bib Gourmand – a distinction awarded by the Michelin Guide.
We invite you to familiarise yourself with the menu!
